Sarah Holcombe

Mezzo-soprano

Originally from Mazatlán, Sinaloa. In 2007 he began his singing studies at the Superior School of Singing of this same city, under the direction of Martha Félix and the prestigious conductor Enrique Patrón de Rueda. He has participated in vocal improvement classes and opera workshops with Ángel Rodríguez, Ernesto Aboites, Luis Girón May, Rogelio Riojas, Álvaro Ramírez and James Demster. Currently he continues his vocal training with José Miguel Valenzuela.

He was a member of the Angela Peralta Choir and the Guillermo Sarabia Choir, in which, as a member, he participated in several opera productions such as La Boheme, Traviata, among others. He has participated in numerous concerts and solo performances including the monumental production “Carmina Burana” by Carl Off, the Velada de las Artes of Mazatlán in 2010, the concert “Live the Music” offered by the Artistic Society of Sinaloa and in ” The Creation “by Joseph Haydn in 2009, Soloist at the Cri – cri children ‘s concert and the traditional Christmas Gala at the Angela Peralta Theater in 2016.

He has participated in tours that he performed with the Guillermo Sarabia Choir in the state of Veracruz under the baton of maestro Daniel Villegas and later with Jorge García Fajardo.

He has played the role of “Angel” in Dido and Aeneas and “Bertha” in the Barber of Seville. He was a finalist in the International Song Contest of Sinaloa in 2010.
