El Festival Internacional de Teatro, ESECENA MAZATLÁN nace en el 2011 con la intención de abrir espacios de creación, reflexión, diálogo, capacitación, colaboración, crítica y fascinación entre artistas y comunidad, crear lazos de comunión entre artistas de distintas latitudes.
Escena Mazatlán promueve el gusto por el teatro y sus diversas manifestaciones, presenta a la comunidad una experiencia artística de gran calidad y diversidad, a través de puestas en escena, nacionales e internacionales de amplio espectro.
Además el festival pretende enriquecer a los grupos locales, nacionales e internacionales, a través del contacto, intercambio de experiencias y técnicas. Fomentar la aparición de nueva y más numerosa comunidad teatral en el puerto y alrededores, es también el interés del Festival.
En este 2016, la sexta edición se realizará del 23 de septiembre al 1 de octubre.

International Theater Festival – Escena Mazatlan The International Theater Festival, ESECENA MAZATLAN, was born in the 2011 with the intention of opening spaces of creation, reflection, dialogue, training, collaboration, and fascination between artists and the community, creating ties of communion between artists of different latitudes. Escena Mazatlan promotes the joy of the theater and its various manifestations. It presents an artistic experience of great quality and diversity to the community through national and international stage productions of broad spectrum. In addition the festival intends to enrich the local, national and international groups through contact, and the exchange of experiences and techniques. Foster the emergence of new and larger theatrical community in and around Mazatlan, is also the interest of the Festival. In 2016, the Sixth Edition will be held from September 23rd to October 1st
