El lunes 24 de abril a las 20:00 horas en el Teatro Ángela Peralta, la compañía que a través del lenguaje de la danza ha cobrado prestigio en sus múltiples presentaciones en países de Europa, África y América, inaugurará el Festival José Limón que honra la memoria de uno de los bailarines y coreógrafos más influyentes del siglo XX, pionero de la danza moderna americana. En este laboratorio de máscaras corporales, técnica que Delfos desarrolló de la mano Marcela Sánchez Mota y Octavio Zeivi -directores de Foco alAire Producciones-, la compañía residente del Teatro Ángela Peralta, crea sobre el escenario una galería de personajes, voces, gestos y situaciones que descubren el fascinante, ridículo y trágico mundo del espectáculo.
En este espectáculo las voces de personajes como Billy Holiday, Jeanette, Elvis Presley, Pita Amor, Paco Malgesto, Nina Simone o Barbra Streisand se apoderarán de los bailarines para desatar escenas que van de lo conmovedor a lo ridículo y de lo grotesco a lo sublime.

On Monday, April 24th at 8 pm in the Angela Peralta Theater, the company that, through the language of dance, has gained prestige in its multiple presentations in the countries of Europe, Africa and America, will open the Festival José Limón, honoring the memory of one of the dancers and most influential choreographers of the 20th century, the pioneer of the American modern dance.
