Primero, la biblioteca virtual de Cultura recibió a estudiantes de secundaria que bajo la guía del maestro Francisco Martín Flores Castillo tuvieron oportunidad de conocer obras, en formato electrónico, de Emilio Salgari, Henrik Ibsen, Rainer María Rilke, Geofrey Chaucer o Lewis Carroll, entre otros. Posteriormente los músicos del Ensamble Camerata Mazatlán ofrecieron un repertorio con piezas contemporáneas. Primero dos suites, para vibráfono y trompeta, del compositor francés Claude Bolling plasmaron toques de jazz y música orquestal. Después una ecléctica mezcla de estilos que incluyó un tema original del contrabajista Max Torres que forma parte de la banda sonora de la película “Museo” (de próximo estreno), y el clásico “La virgen de la Macarena”, de Gregorio Barrios.
Así, entre jazz y lluvia, los estudiantes del Colegio Remington tuvieron un día inusual gracias a la presencia del Instituto de Cultura de Mazatlán.
