This Saturday, April 13, at 7:00 p.m. in the cinema of Casa Haas the cycle: “Thrillers” concludes, with the screening of the film “Incendies”, by director Denis Villeneuve.

In this exceptional adaptation of the play The Woman Who Singed, by Wajdi Mouawad, the Canadian filmmaker Nawal Marwan, a Lebanese mother who, at the moment of her death, gives an assignment to her children that will radically transform their lives.

A journey into the bowels of the recent history of Lebanon, a story of love and mystery, “Incendies” is a powerful and vigorous work that intertwines the intimate and the collective: the terror of war, the outrages left by religion when living in a distorted form and the purification that each individual can experience when confronting and understanding their past.

The film is shown in its original Arabic language, with subtitles in Spanish. Free admission with limited space.

It is important to note that from this day until the time change, the Cinematographic screenings at Casa Haas will be at 7:00 pm.
