With the participation of artists from Sinaloa, Mexico, Spain, Italy, Costa Rica, Argentina, Chile, and Colombia, among others, the show “La Carpa”, thrilled and captivated hundreds of people between Mazatlecans and foreigners.

The esplanade of the Plaza Republica was the stage where for approximately 60 minutes, the artists expressed themselves in different rhythms of modern dance, poetry, theater and clowning, elements that made a different show that raises “La Carpa” as one of the best events in the last four years.

The show has been established and positioned as one of the most important in the country, boosting the visibility of emerging international and national artists, has strengthened collaboration networks between Mexico and other countries in South America, Central America and Europe, also linked to festivals and platforms of national and international promotion in contemporary dance.

“La Carpa” arrived at the Port thanks to the work of the Municipal Instituto de Cultura, Turismo y Arte de Mazatlan, through the activities of Spring Season 2019, a calendar that accumulates eight weeks of intense activities, reaching more than 10 thousand people in different venues.
