At the rhythm of the Corrido de Mazatlan, the Camerata Mazatlan was presented and a spectacular concert was held in the neighborhood of Urías, in the new format of the “De Cara al Pueblo” program, headed by Municipal President, Luis Guillermo Benítez Torres.
Within the program, a module was installed by the Municipal Instituto de Cultura, Turismo y Arte de Mazatlan, promoting the workshops, technical careers and degrees offered by the fine arts in the Municipal Arts Center of Mazatlan among the citizens, obtaining positive response among the attendees.
Hundreds of people of all ages witnessed a very Mexican recital composed of pieces such as: Adagio, the Corrido de Mazatlan, Paloma, Sandunga, Arrancame la vida, Oblivión, Potpourri by Agustín Lara, Soy Mexicano, Noche en México, closing the evening with the famous Mazatlecan song.
In the words of the neighbors, the presentation of the Camerata Mazatlán left a good taste in their mouths. The Camerata, directed by Maestro Héctor Javier Reyes Bonilla, was recognized for its excellent artists who left their soul in each of the pieces performed on the stage.
Some of the people added that these types of shows are beautiful and should be repeated continuously to promote culture and to awaken the interest among new generations in fine arts.
