For the first time in the history of the Port, the impressive Angela Peralta Theater was the setting for the official culmination of six careers of the Municipal Arts Center, an academy that presented 34 Mazatlecan and Mexican professionals in different areas of the fine arts with the documentation in this end of classescourses.
Marsol Quiñónez Castro, General Director of the Municipal Instituto de Cultura, Turismo y Arte de Mazatlán, headed the presidium table; was accompanied by Regidor Guadalupe Aguilar Soto, president of the Cultura Committee; and Juan Manuel Flores Vázquez, Director of the CMA.
The Director of the Instituto de Cultura gave a message to the students to whom she recognized for their efforts in the classrooms, inviting them to continue making art with talent, ingenuity and inspiration, without forgetting discipline, perseverance and humility.
Kateryn Itzay Pérez Huerta, from the Technical Music career and Heidy Isabel García Vásquez, who graduated from the Bachelor of Contemporary Dance, received from Quiñonez Castro the special recognition of being distinguished for their academics excellence in this generation.
On behalf of her classmates, student Heidy García gave some words in which she thanked the different teachers who were part of her academic training and the parents of the different students that without their support, this ceremony would not have been possible.
