The Angela Peralta Theater will be the site for the premiere of “We will always have Dallas”, a work written and directed by Mazatlecan Manolo Díaz, a function that will be the graduation ceremony for the Technical Career in Theater Arts offered by the Theater of Experimental Studies Center and will take place on Thursday, July 11 at 8:00 p.m.
For the director, this play is a work that bets on the dynamism, the interpretation, the acting empowerment of the two actresses, graduate student Hannia Meza and maestra Silvia Flores, who during the acts will represent six different characters, demanding thus, the maximum of each one during the function.
“Siempre tendremos Dallas” is a story that is built from the humor advancing to a territory that belongs to horror, it addresses youth and that battles are sometimes waged to empathize with other members of the family, under circumstances such as age, illness, and people, among others.
Manolo Díaz indicated that the play forms part of the International Circuit of Young Direction and Dramaturgy, text selected in León, Guanajuato last 2018, creating theatrical networks which will allow the play to be presented as of August in countries such as Cuba, Chile, Argentina, and Venezuela, among others.
To witness this play, which will begin at 8:00 p.m., tickets range from 100 to 200 pesos. They are now on sale at the Angela Peralta Theater.
