The Municipal Instituto de Cultura, Turismo y Arte, together with the Mazatlan security forces, guarantee the safety of the thousands of attendees who will meet the event “Welcome 2020”, which is why they held a technical meeting to refine details and strategies for the evening of December 31 that will take place in Olas Altas.
José Ángel Tostado Quevedo, Office Manager of the General Directorate of the Instituto de Cultura, indicated that the meeting between the office of Cultura with Municipal Transit, Municipal Preventive Police and Municipal Civil Protection was productive.
“We are all coordinated for the event in the issue of security, Public Safety, Civil Protection and what this event entails. It should be noted that we still have tables available, we are at about 65 percent. The cost to reserve a table is 400 pesos and it´s for 10 people,” he said.
The official said that on day of the event the accesses will open at 9:00 p.m., entrances located on Sixto Osuna and Mariano Escobedo streets.
As recommendations, he indicated that attendees can bring any type of drinks, as long as they are not transported in glass containers, in addition to avoiding carrying furniture such as chairs, benches, tents, grills, among other things.
