This Saturday, February 27 at the Cinema at Casa Haas at 6:00 pm the film “Bajo California: el limite del tiempo” (1996) by director Carlos Bolado, winner of 7 Ariel awards and with which will end the Cycle: “Epocas”.

Damián Ojeda (Damián Alcázar), is a Chicano fine artist who, after accidentally running over a pregnant woman, flees to Mexico, towards San Francisco de la Sierra, Baja California. There, Damián has two objectives: to locate the resting place of his grandmother and to see the cave paintings there. In town he meets the person who will guide him, Arce (Jesús Ochoa), a possible relative of Damián, in a place where the majority is Arce.

A film that reflects on roots and identity, a journey with a lapidary charge towards the encounter with oneself to atone for guilt; to offer tribute with symbolism and thus maintain the fragile balance between time and space. The redeemed man.

The film is screened in its original language, Spanish. Free entry, with limited capacity and mandatory use of a mask throughout the event.
