José Ángel Tostado Quevedo, who served as General Director of the Instituto de Cultura, resigned his position this morning during the eighth extraordinary session of the Board of Directors of the Instituto de Cultura, Turismo y Arte de Mazatlán held on the Zoom platform.

Before 12 of the 15 members of the Council declaring a legal quorum, Tostado Quevedo requested to be separated from the position arguing personal and professional reasons, he said goodbye thanking all the support received during his administration.

After accepting the resignation, the appointment of Mr. Irving Asael Campos Valle as Head of Office of the General Directorate of the Instituto de Cultura was considered at the request of the Mayor of Mazatlán José Manuel Villalobos, because for organizational and operational reasons it was argued that this Paramunicipal could not be without a charge.

This request was unanimously approved by the 12 directors, which led to the protest of Campos Valle as the new Head of Dispatch of the General Directorate.

Irving Asael Campos Valle has a degree in Graphic Communication Design, graduated from the Autonomous University of Durango Mazatlán. He has served in different positions in the public function as Coordinator of Design and Deputy Director of Dif Mazatlán System, Director of Municipal Public Relations, and since 2018 he served as Director of Logistics and Protocol of the Instituto de Cultura, in charge of six fundamental coordinations for the development and management of the Paramunicipal.
