The Instituto Municipal de Cultura, Turismo y Arte de Mazatlán complied with society by delivering 500 tickets for the Day of the Dead 2021 “Metamorphosis, myths and legends of Mexico” tour, all in complete order, and respecting the pertinent health guidelines.

It was at 10:00 a.m. when the delivery began, benefiting Mazatlecan Mario Iván Maldonado who detailed that from 05:00 a.m. he arrived at the portico of the Angela Peralta Theater to obtain two tickets, it was worth the wait already that will be enjoyed by his wife and daughter, who have been loyal assistants for several years.

The event is one of the favorites of Mazatlecos and tourists, who every year enter this fascinating journey, which has grown in popularity, such is the case of Eduardo, a visitor from Mexico City who said he was happy to be part of it, since his relatives say that it is spectacular and finally this year he will live the experience.

After a year of not performing in person, by 2021 the Instituto de Cultura directed by José Ángel Tostado Quevedo, returns the great event for which it has prepared an intense program where it will recreate the most famous legends of Mexico, and some stories typical of our beautiful Mazatlán.

For that day, attendees will be able to access the Angela Peralta Theater with ticket in hand specifying the start time, in groups of 50 people, who prior to the tour must show a vaccination certificate or a negative Covid-19 exam, wear a mask at all times and follow the instructions.

Day of the Dead 2021 “Metamorphosis, myths and legends of Mexico”, is part of the successful Festival Cultural Mazatlán 2021, an event that offers a wide range of artistic offerings for a diverse public and that since its inception on October 2 has been well received by the public made up of locals, tourists and foreign residents.
