This Friday, October 8th at 8:00 p.m. at the Angela Peralta Theater, will be the closing of the Festival Internacional de Teatro Escena Mazatlán 2021, organized by the Instituto de Cultura, Turismo y Arte de Mazatlán with thfunction “Las cosas simples (simple things) with the Compañía Delfos Danza Contemporánea.

Delfos, with a long list of awards and recognitions throughout its almost 30 years of existence, once again surprises us with the premiere of an intimate and poetic work that seeks answers in the midst of chaos. Where is the important, the central, the really valuable? How to reconnect with the subtle, the vulnerable, the sensitive? How to achieve equilibrium after chaos from the ineffability of continuous change, from constant death and rebirth in ourselves?

Under the direction of the choreographer Claudia Lavista Las cosas simples is a stage investigation that seeks, from intimacy, to find inner silence, that invisible space for the gaze, but so tangible for the intuition. The work is composed of five scenes that, as a choreographic mosaic, summon us to reflect on personal relationships, losses, lack of communication, the burden we assume on our shoulders and, finally, the encounter with the simple as a possible way of life.

Tickets are on sale at the Theater box office at a cost of $200 pesos for the orchestra, $150 pesos for the first and second balcony and $100 pesos for the third balcony.
