Thanks to the varied content offer of the Festival Cultural Mazatlán 2021, Thursdays in October will become literary evenings at Casa Haas, since on the 7th, 14th, 21st and 28th, writers, students and literature fans will star in “Letras, Pan y Vino ”, a space for reflection, writing and any type of essay.

Silvia Michel Acosta, local artist and writer, will be the host of the event, who with her knowledge will guide the attendees to realize their ideas, in any of the current literary that manifest either poetry, theater, and stories, among others.

The space will be free and limited to 50 people who to enter the enclosure located on the corner of Mariano Escobedo and Heriberto Frías streets without an address number, must comply with the health regulations, which is to use a mask correctly and show a vaccination certificate, apply antibacterial gel and respect healthy distances.

Some writers have expressed that literature is art, starting from this concept this space is opened, so that poets, writers and words in general show how literature reflects life in its movement with a touch of peculiarity creating a world of its own.

For the Instituto Municipal de Cultura, Turismo y Arte de Mazatlán, headed by General Director José Ángel Tostado Quevedo, generating these type of spaces contributes to the training of new writers of different literary currents, thus complying with the mission of the Mayor, Quimico Luis Guillermo Benitez Torres to promote and promote any manifestation of art.
