Tonight the majestic Angela Peralta Theater was filled with joy, color and excitement in the great musical dance show “Que me entierren con la banda”, an event that is part of the billboard of the Festival Cultural Mazatlán 2021 carried out by the Instituto Municipal de Cultura, Turismo y Artet directed by Lic. José Ángel Tostado Quevedo entrusted by the Mayor of Mazatlán, Quimico Luis Guillermo Benitez Torres to promote culture and the arts in the Port.
Before a full house and with emotions on the surface, the public enjoyed a magical night, surrendering in each performance by the members of the Folkloric Ballet of Culture directed by the teacher Javier Arcadia and the Municipal Band led by Santiago Rosas.

In a perfect mix of live Sinaloan banda music plus the mischief and talent of 20 dancers on stage, the show became a real fiesta.

The very Sinaloan repertoire included pieces such as “Por tal de que seas feliz”, “Mazatlán”, “Noches de Mazatlán”, “Que me entierren con la banda”, “Los amores de Julia”, “El sauce y la palma”, “El costeño”, “El toro viejo”, “Niño perdido”, “India bonita”, “La cuichi”, “La ley del monte”, “Corrido de Mazatlán”, and “El palo verde”, among others.

The audience were grateful for the dedication of the dancers and musicians at the end turned to an inspired ovation that closed the curtain on this great show.
