An emotional posthumous concert provided by local artists, who remembered singer Rafael Vazquez with much appreciation at the evening “Mis memorias del Cabaret”, a successful event that took place free of charge at Casa Haas and that had the support of the Instituto Municipal de Cultura, Turismo y Arte de Mazatlán directed by José Ángel Tostado Quevedo.

During the evening the remains of the singer were present, there his granddaughters María and Radha Murillo, interpreted beautiful songs, and thanked those present for their visit, they indicated that they decided to pay tribute in the Port, since it was here where he spent his last years of life.

In the artistic section, the soloists had the musical support of pianist Sergio Castellanos, guitarist Luis Ornelas, and the group Salty Feet, who accompanied singers such as Marysol Calles, Priscila Irigoyen, Flor Estrada, Madaí Leyva, Jorge Palacios, Julio Recinos, Noel Osuna, Hugo Gova and Luis Garcia.

The songs they performed were a selection from the album “My memories of Cabaret” that includes “Mi razón”, “Falsos Juramentos”, “Falsa”, “Hoja Seca”, “La última copa”, “Sin ella”, and without missing his creations such as “Mi mejor tristeza” and “El candado”.
