Facing the Festival Internacional de Teatro Escena Mazatlán 2022, the play “Rio de Ansiedad” was successfully developed in the Sister Cities Park, an improvised plot by the actor El Josar, who for almost 30 minutes did a comic, dramatic lay, which arose from an experience of a young woman who was in the audience.
The plot was a pilot plan where the theater company “Rio a Trote” used its creativity to keep people’s attention despite competing with the sunset of the moment and the bustle of the streets, among other factors.
This show was carried out thanks to the Instituto Municipal de Cultura, Turismo y Arte de Mazatlán. directed by José Ángel Tostado Quevedo, who on behalf of Mayor Quimico Luis Guillermo Benítez Torres, offers free art and culture in public spaces.
The Festival Internacional de Teatro Escena Mazatlán 2022 will take place in the port from September 27th to October 2nd, where local and national companies will present their best plots at the Ángela Peralta Theater.
