Comics Workshop will be taught at the Municipal Arts Center; for 12 or older

People interested in being part of the comics culture can enroll in the experiential workshop that is about to start at the Municipal Center for the Arts.

The Comics Workshop begins on March 18th and ends on June 3rd, all Saturday classes with the objective of providing the necessary techniques to create stories with the graphic nature that is required, from the design, the drawings and the way in which they are formed to tell the stories.

The El Instituto de Cultura, Turismo y Arte invites the population, 12 or older, to take advantage of this opportunity offered by the CMA to be part of the Comics Workshop that will be taught on Saturdays from 10:00 am to 12:00 p.m.

During the workshop, different topics will be addressed: The History of Comics and Manga (How and Where they arose); Early writers and publications; Comic and Manga development; Social impact; stories brought to the screen; techniques for drawing; genres and literary; Writing and creating comics.

The requirements are: A notebook, drawing block, drawing pencil and colors.

Costs: Registration: $450.00; monthly payment $500.00 per person. More information in the Academic Coordination of the Municipal Arts Center, located next to the Ángela Peralta Theater.
