The acclaimed “Sicario”, a film by Denis Villeneuve, which was nominated for an Oscar in the categories Best Soundtrack, Best Sound Editing, and Best Photography, and for the Palme d’Or at the Festival de Cannes in 2015, will be presented this Saturday, March 4th at the CMA Cinema.

The film will be screened at 6:00 p.m. The cast is made up of Emily Blunt, Benicio del Toro and Josh Brolin, among others.

Access is free without a ticket, starting at 5:40 p.m. through the door located on Calle Carnaval S/N on Plazuela Machado, the film will be presented in its original language with Spanish subtitles.

The prestigious director known for films like “Incendies” (2010) or “Prisoners” (2013), this time bets on a great cast of actors, with music by Jóhann Jóhannsson and photography by Roger Deakins to propose a fast-paced thriller.

In the border area that stretches between the United States and Mexico, a young and idealistic FBI agent, Kate Macer (Emily Blunt) is recruited by an elite government force to help stop the escalation of violence derived from drug trafficking.

The operation is led by controversial agent Matt Graver (Josh Brolin) and the mysterious Alejandro (Benicio Del Toro). The team undertakes a clandestine mission that leads the woman to question her convictions in order to survive.
