Flor Estrada made her debut in the world of literature by presenting her first novel “Memorias de la nave”, an anthology made up of 20 stories, which is published under the seal of the Tinta Marina publishing house.

Accompanied by family, friends and students, Flor Estrada, recognized for her outstanding performances in lyrical singing, had as presenters, writers Melly Peraza, Karina Castillo and Pedro Rodríguez, characters who read, commented and gave notes on this work fresh from the press.

The artist confessed that after several years of creative work in literary workshops, little by little she was drawing experiences that helped her create this therapeutic work born in moments of deep depression, which she shares with the public, as a testimony of overcoming and creativity.

At the presentation, the author of “Memorias de la Nave” she thanked the Instituto de Cultura and the Mazatlán Cultural Festival 2024 for their support on this great day.

During his participation, Pedro Rodríguez highlighted that this book has light, pleasant literature, with a very Sinaloan language, the characters are modern and more than one person will identify with one of them.

Karina Castillo congratulated Flor Estrada because she sets an example for students and other writers of the port, whom she inspires to publish their material. Regarding the work, she said that there are short stories and others that are a bit long, which makes reading enjoyable.

Melly Peraza indicated that she was part of the process of each story, as a workshop teacher, she saw a writer who evolved, in each story is an adventure and she concluded by reading a chapter where she undoubtedly sees adventures and eroticism reflected.

The public also took part in this literary evening, where some questioned the source of inspiration, while others, having the book and reading some pages, congratulated the writer for her work.
