The Instituto Munucipal de Culturema, Turismo y Arte de Mazatlán will be part of the Syzygy/Sicigia Itinerant Project, and it is through the Angela Peralta Gallery where this Thursday, January 30th, the opening of the collective exhibition of the international event will take place, which brings together more than 50 artists from countries such as Brazil, Spain, Canada, Cuba, Colombia, the United States and Mexico.

It will be at 7:00 p.m. when the ribbon cutting will take place inside the venue located in the Angela Peralta Theater, where the Colombian artist Milton Afanador will be the Co-Curator, and in the artistic room works by artists such as Gloria Inés Cárdenas, Lady Robles Peña, Lina María Quintero Forero, among others, will be exhibited.

It will be from January 30th to February 8th when demonstrations will be held, exhibitions will be inaugurated, among other activities, in cultural forums such as Galería Baupres, the Autonomous University of Sinaloa, the Mazatlán Cultural Innovation Center, and the Ángela Peralta Gallery, as announced in a press conference held today at the Museum of Art.

Enrique Vega Ayala, director of Cultural Planning for Mazatlán, thanked the synergy of the artists who sought support from the Instituto de Cultura, which was given in one of the best venues in the port, such as the Ángela Peralta Gallery.

“We appreciate the trust of the project organizers to use the spaces. The inauguration of this event will be at the Angela Peralta Gallery, which is open to all artistic expressions in the port, in addition to being symbolic for its history, it is a very visited gallery,” said Enrique Vega.

During the presentation of this project, Dory Perdomo, Director of the Baupres Cultural Center, Eng. Mario Alberto Chávez Noriega, Operational Coordinator of the Mazatlán Museum of Art, and Mariela Mercado, Director of the Mazatlán Cultural Innovation Center, were at the head table.
