The Instituti Municipal de Cultura, Turism y Arte de Mazatlán is carrying out the final carpentry work to install toilets in the Olas Altas area, specifically on Ángel Flores Street, with the aim of providing services during the Mazatlán International Carnaval 2025.
This event, which will take place from February 27th to March 4th with the motto “La Perla”, is the most emblematic festival in Mazatlán and is organized by the Instituto de Cultura de Mazatlan. 38 bathrooms will be installed in different areas, such as the shield, Ángel Flores and in front of the Glorieta del Clavadista, to serve attendees.
The Mazatlán International Carnaval is a traditional celebration that attracts thousands of visitors every year, with a variety of activities, parades, concerts with internationally renowned artists and cultural events such as the presentation of the Mazatlán Literature Prize, the Clemencia Isaura Poetry Prize, the Evening of the Arts and the awarding of the winners of the “Antonio López Sáenz” Visual Arts Biennial. This year’s theme is “The Pearl,” a tribute to the deep connection between Mazatlán and the marine wealth of the Pacific Ocean.
