This Thursday, March 27th, at 7:00 p.m., Casa Haas will be graced with a recital of works for violin and piano. An evening of exquisite music will be offered by the “Concert Duo,” comprised of virtuoso violinist Nina Farvarshchuk and talented pianist Tanya Orlov.
Following their successful performance at the Mazatlán Cultural Festival 2024, the virtuoso European artists return to offer an exceptional program, including masterpieces by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart and Franz Schubert. The audience will enjoy a selection of duets, solos, and other musical surprises.
A Luminous Program
“With Spring Season in mind, we wanted to create something different, focusing on works in major keys that convey positivity and peace. We looked for music that radiated light, the light of peace,” explains violinist Nina Farvarshchuk.
For her part, Russian pianist Tanya Orlov highlights her choice of Schubert’s Sonata in D Major, Op. 162: “I love its intensity, its suspense, and its romanticism.”
