Those interested in pursuing a career related to the fine arts can now apply and pre-register at the Municipal Arts Center of the Instituto Municipal de Cultura, Turismo y Arte de Mazatlan through the website https://culturacma.servoescolar.mx/admisiones.aspx.
Recognized as a leading institution in the training of high-level artists, present on the national and international scene, the CMA offers bachelor’s degrees in Contemporary Dance, Music, and Singing.
For those who have completed or are about to complete basic education, the CMA offers technical programs in Theater Arts, Visual Arts, Classical Ballet, and Music.
In addition, introductory art workshops are open to those wishing to explore Classical Ballet, Filmmaking, Visual Arts, Theater, Children’s Theater, Music, Opera, Children’s Choir, Adult Choir, Children’s Literature, Comics, and Youth Folklore.

AUDITIONS
After beginning the admissions process, those interested in studying for a Technical Degree in Visual Arts must audition on the following dates: May 6, 13, 20, and 27. Those who selected the Bachelor’s Degree in Contemporary Dance will hold their auditions on May 23 and 24.
Auditions for the Bachelor’s Degree in Music and Singing will be held on Monday, May 26, starting at 10:00 a.m. at the CMA. Auditions for the Music Workshop and the Technical Program in Music will be held on May 27 at 4:00 p.m.
Auditions close on June 28, July 5, and August 16 at 10:00 a.m. for those interested in applying to the Workshop or Technical Program in Performing Arts.
