With the goal of promoting reading among young people and cultivating a new generation of readers, prominent writer and teacher Alma Vitalis taught an enriching reading workshop at the Manuel Bonilla Municipal Library. The session focused on the short story collection “Entre Ficciones y Fricciones.”

This workshop is part of a program promoted by the Sinaloa Instituto de Cultura. designed to bring together young people interested in exploring both reading and writing.

Although this group, called La Colmena, has existed since 2017 and has been active intermittently, the idea is to integrate these young people, said writer Alma Vitalis.

On this occasion, the young participants had the valuable opportunity to discuss and delve deeper into the short story genre, its narrative resources, and the author’s work.

For those interested in participating in this free workshop, the next sessions will be held on Wednesdays and Thursdays starting at 4:00 p.m. at the Manuel Bonilla Library and will last approximately two hours.
