The Local Theater Showcase presents “Dakota,” an intense psychological thriller produced by Oscar Castro, which will premiere on Thursday, May 15th at 7:00 PM at Casa Haas. Directed by Sebastián Sánchez, this play promises to captivate audiences with a plot full of tension and conflicting emotions.
“Dakota” introduces us to Tony and Dakota, two former partners in dreams and onstage, whose lives have taken opposite paths. Dakota has achieved stardom, while Tony lives in resentment and doubt. One night, Tony decides to confront Dakota, kidnapping her and triggering a confrontation where past and traumas will come to light.
Starring Anna Karenina (Dakota) and Oscar Castro (Tony), “Dakota” is a 70-minute play that explores the complexities of ambition, envy, and forgiveness.
The play is suitable for ages 15 and up; tickets for $100 pesos are available at the Angela Peralta Theater box office.
