Under the title “Snail of writing: Encounter with the Classics,” the Dialogues of Our History program, a program for Spring Season 2025 sponsored by the Instituto de Cultura de Mazatlan concludes this Wednesday, May 14th, at 5:00 p.m. in the Plazuela Machado, next to the Ángela Peralta Theater.
Alonso Guerra, coordinator of the literary program, which aims to foster dialogue and feedback on topics of interest to the port, indicated that the panel will feature Joanha García, Eduardo Vázquez, and Rodrigo Nevárez, who will discuss the importance of reading classic literature.
They will discuss works by Octavio Paz, Sor Juana Inés de la Cruz, Carlos Fuentes, Agustín Yáñez, Gabriel García Márquez, William Shakespeare, Isabel Allende, among others.
The staff of the El Caracol library will be invited, and they will have a space to sell some of the works that will be discussed in this important Wednesday afternoon talk.
