Dozens of children and adults enjoyed a fun, daring, and interactive afternoon with the stories of Ingrid Mena Vázquez, a storyteller who starred in “Dialogues for Children with Ingrid the Storyteller” at Dialogues of Our History.

For almost an hour, the adventures of the Autonomous University of Sinaloa student kept the Carnaval Corridor attendees entertained, captivating them with her own stories.

After a presentation, Ingrid began her performance with the story “True Lies,” a tale about two peasant siblings, addicted to telling lies, who were given a bowl of their own chocolate when they fell prey to wild beasts. When they asked for help, no one believed them, and they suffered the consequences.

The fable “Black Eyes” brought laughter to everyone, frightened by the disappearance of the children, who realized it was just a bad dream.

“Furry Animals,” the story of a cat and a dog, filled with tenderness and showed the solidarity between these species when one of them lost its life.

During the story, the artist spoke with enthusiasm, and to add flavor to each sentence, she interacted with the children and adults, involving them at every opportunity, earning her recognition from all in attendance.
