Sinopsis
This festival seeks to promote and enrich the contemporary dance scene nationally and internationally and plays a crucial role in the dissemination of contemporary dance and in the formation of audiences interested in this artistic discipline. The José Limón Festival takes place in different cities of the state of Sinaloa, including Culiacán, Mazatlán and Los Mochis with the participation of renowned companies and dancers from various countries, which allows an enriching cultural and artistic exchange. In addition to the dance presentations, the festival includes a variety of activities, such as the presentation of the Culiacán Choreography Award and the José Limón National Dance Award; exhibitions and book presentations, the meeting of academies, artistic residencies and ensembles with dancers from all over the country.
