The port of Mazatlán has been the cradle and platform of artistic manifestations, whose tradition and scope have been consolidated since times until today, developing through music, bel canto and dance, creating national and international references of very high value.
In order to consolidate Mazatlán as an artistic-cultural destination, it has been decided to open a new horizon, through one of the most beautiful forms of and reflection of the human being, THEATER.
The International Theater Festival, ESECENA MAZATLÁN was born with the intention of opening spaces for creation, reflection, dialogue, training, collaboration, criticism and fascination between artists and the community, creating bonds of communion between artists different latitudes.
We seek to create conditions conducive to promoting the activity, development and theatrical communication.
Promote in the community the taste for theater and its various manifestations, they can find echo, each and every one of the members of our society.
We are interested in exposing the community to an artistic experience of great quality and diversity, through staging, national and international broad-spectrum.
ESCENA MAZATLÁN is added as a channel of communication between the Port and the world. We believe we are able to manage culture for all, at the service of diversity, a more shared and tolerant world.
