Este sábado en El Cinematógrafo “Corazón Gigante” de Dagur Kári

Fusi es un inadaptado social, rechazado en casa por su dominante madre y en el trabajo por sus compañeros a causa de su sobrepeso. Nunca ha tenido novia y su único interés son las batallas de la Segunda Guerra Mundial que reproduce en miniatura en su apartamento. Su vida parece cambiar cuando recibe un cupón para acudir a una escuela de baile donde conoce a Sjofn, una mujer solitaria con profundas heridas sicológicas. El director realiza un retrato estrafalario y compasivo, cálidamente divertido, realizad con un toque exacto de melancolía. Un retrato trazado a base de pequeños pero efectivos detalles que por su extraordinaria calidad artística formó parte de la Selección Oficial de la Berlinale 2015. A su paso por el circuito internacional de festivales obtuvo, entre otros premios, los de Mejor Película, Mejor Guión y Mejor Actor en el Festival de Tribeca 2015.
Dagur Kári nace en parís, Francia, pero se muda a Dinamarca para estudiar en la Escuela Nacional de Cine de ese país. Egresa en 1999 e inicia su carrera cinematográfica en al que además de Director se ha desempeñado como guionista y compositor de la música de sus propias películas: “Noi el albino” (2003), “Un buen corazón” (2009) y “Una vida normal”. La película “Corazón Gigante” (2015) es su cuarto largometraje, un extraordinario relato intimista con el que se presentó triunfalmente en el circuito internacional de festivales.
