Ritmo y flow en la Plazuela República

Como cada martes, este programa impulsado por el Gobierno de Mazatlán a través del Instituto de Cultura, congregó en la explanada exterior del Ayuntamiento a decenas de personas de todas las edades que gozaron de principio a fin el concierto gratuito protagonizado por talentosos y jóvenes músicos.Bajo la dirección del maestro Carlos Betanzos la banda juvenil inició su actuación con la pieza In The Mood del ícono del Jazz en los años treinta Glenn Miller. Seguida por la pieza American Patrol del mismo compositor.
La clásica pieza de los ochenta Thriller del rey del pop Michael Jackson, provocó  nostalgia y emoción entre el público que reaccionó con una ovación para los músicos.
New York, New York del gran cantante y actor de los cincuenta, Frank Sinatra, fue inmediatamente reconocida por los presentes que después disfrutaron  Have You Ever See The Rain de la banda setentera Creedence Clearwater Revival.
El público se mostró entretenido y animado al disfrutar estas maravillosas piezas llenas de alegría e intensidad.
El programa “M Artes de Cultura” continúa el martes 6 de junio, a las 18:00 horas en la Plazuela República con la presentación de la Orquesta Sinfónica Juvenil.

As every Tuesday, this program promoted by the Government of Mazatlan through the Institutp de Cultura, dozens of people of all ages gathered at the Esplanade outside of City Hall to enjoy the free concert starring the young and talented musicians of the Jazz Ensemble of the School of Music of Cultura. Under the direction of maestro Carlos Betanzos, the youth band began its performance with the piece “In The Mood” by Jazz icon from the 1930s Glenn Miller. They followed it with “American Patrol” a piece by the same composer. The classical piece from the 80’s, “Thriller” by the King of pop Michael Jackson, provoked nostalgia and excitement in the crowd who responded with a standing ovation for the musicians. New York, New York by the great singer and actor of the 1950s, Frank Sinatra, was immediately recognized by those present who later enjoyed the seventies band Creedence Clearwater Revival’s “Have You Ever See The Rain”.
