Compuesta en 1824, el Cuarteto para cuerda, no 14 en re menor, D. 810, más bien conocido como “Death and the Maiden” (La muerte y la doncella), es un cuarteto para dos violines, viola y violonchelo que curiosamente nunca se ha interpretado en Sinaloa. La pieza está integrada por los movimientos Allegro, Andante con moto, Scherzo. Allegro molto. Trío y Presto. El tema será interpretado Olena Bogaychuck, Olga Khodoblayak, Virna Cornejo y Octavio Hidalgo, músicos titulares de la Orquesta Sinfónica Sinaloa de las Artes.

This Sunday the Camerata Campbell presents one of the most beautiful and intense pieces by Franz Schubert´s repertoire “Death and the Maiden” within the framework of activities of the 2018 Campbell Season. The concert will be performed twice, at 12 noon and at 5 pm, at Casa Haas. Composed in 1824, Sring Quartet, no.14 in D minor, D. 810, better known as “Death and the Maiden”, is a quartet for two violins, viola and violoncello that curiously has never been performed in Sinaloa. The piece is integrated by the movements Allegro, Andante con moto, Scherzo. Allegro Molto, Trío and Presto.
