This Wednesday afternoon the “Fair of regional products 2019” began in the Parque Ciudades Hermanas, an impressive meeting of handicrafts, gastronomic offering and tourist options of the port of Mazatlan, from its syndicates and various municipalities of South Sinaloa.

To entertain the event, the Instituto de Cultura, Turismo y Arte de Mazatlan presented two of the most important artistic groups of the Municipal Center of the Arts: the Ballet of Cuicacalco and the Professional Ballet of Sinaloa directed, respectively, by maesros Javier Arcadia and Guillermo Carrillo.

The emblematic dance of the Deer, traditional dances of Sinaloa and a wide repertoire of songs performed by Hiram Félix, accompanied the audience on their tour of the various stands that awaited them as an authentic camera of wonders full of colors, aromas, flavors and mysteries : empanadas, dried shrimp, pineapple, orange and chili jellies, guava jamillos, tacos de chicarrón, steak and colache, agave and brandy, water of pisnate, tejuinos, scraped tacos, tacos de canasta, wood crafts, banana pies, travel offers for the fields and seas of Sinaloa and much, much more.

Organized by the H. Ayuntamiento de Mazatlán, through the Ministry of Economic Development, Tourism and Fisheries, the “Fair of Regional Products 2019” presented a small sampling of the inexhaustible creativity, tradition and talent that all the South of the State has for its visitors in places like Mazatlan, El Habal, El Roble, Siqueros, El Recodo, El Quelite, La Noria, Marmol and Villa Union; and the municipalities of San Ignacio, Concordia, El Rosario, Escuinapa, Elota and Cosalá.

The event was formally inaugurated after the words of welcome from Luis Guillermo “El Químico” Benítez Torres, Mayor of Mazatlán, who stressed that this event is the first of many that will demonstrate the capacity of Mazatlan, its syndicates and southern municipalities to build important tourist circuits, a vision that was born under the direct instruction of the President of Mexico, Andrés Manuel López Obrador.

The “Regional Products Fair 2019” ends on Thursday, April 18, and is ready to receive the public from 12:00 noon to  pm. Free entrance.
