Responding to the call, dozens of citizens went to Plaza Zaragoza on Saturday to enjoy a moment of relaxation where creativity and imagination were present.
Poetic Creation, a basket of books, coloring, entertainment, a book swap and pictorial exhibition, were part of the workshops that were installed for children and adults by the members of the Colectivo Barrio Corazón, with the help of the Municipal Instituto de Cultura, Turismo y Arte de Mazatlan, they created the day called “For Art and Culture.”
To this first edition, Marsol Quiñónez, head of the Institute of Culture, attended, saying it is important that this type of activities reach all corners of the municipality, fulfilling the task that the Mayor, Luis Guillermo Benítez Torres, has instructed.
To complete the activities, there was the presentation of the Angela Peralta Choir, conducted by María Murillo and Sergio Castellanos as accompanist pianist, with melodies such as “O fortuna”,”Lunge da lei”, and “Serénate del Arlequín”, among others, to the delighted of the attendees.
