In a joint and extraordinary effort of the City of Mazatlan, Sistema Dif Municipal and Instituto de Cultura, Mazatlecan mothers were celebrated as they deserve, with a great musical show and an authentic fiesta.
The celebration began with the musical presentation of the Mariachi Continental, warming up engines for the awaited show of the night.
The program was joined by the talent of the dancers of the Ballet Danca Studio & Company, as well as the romanticism of Mazatlecan singer José Narváez.
Refrigerators, stoves, bedroom sets, motorcycles, televisions, living rooms, dining rooms and endless gifts were distributed among thousands of mothers who packed the Teodoro Mariscal Stadium from different colonies, in a completely free event, never before done as part of the celebration of Mothers Day, thanks to the Mayor, Luis Guillermo Benítez Torres and his distinguished wife, Gabriela Peña Chico.
The most anticipated moment of the night came when Manoella Torres, Dulce, Maria del Sol, Ángela Carrasco and Rocío Banquells, appeared on the stage to resound the hearts of thousands of mothers with their spectacular voices.
The Grandioses presumed their great career and added to the final show the unique voice of Aida Cuevas, the great surprise of the night.
Smiles, singing, joy, dancing, wonder, even melancholy, were the protagonists from the night of an audience that gave itself completely from beginning to end, in a celebration without equal.
