After three years of studies, this Thursday at the Angela Peralta Theater, Hannia Meza Landaverde became the only graduate of the IV generation of the Technical Career in Theater Art of the Cultural Institute of Mazatlan with her performance in “We will always have Dallas “, a play by the Mazatlecan playwright Manolo Díaz.

The complex universe of “Vicky” and “Daniela” was drawn on stage by Meza Landaverde and Silvia Flores who, in addition to playing these sisters, gave life to their parents, their new partners (or lovers) of these; two conflicted boyfriends, relentless criminals, a naive child violated by violence and other characters in a dynamic montage co-directed by Manolo Díaz and Rodrigo Muñoz.

On this journey in which the innocence of “Vicky” and “Daniela” gradually transformed into openness, knowledge, sensitivity, maturity and trauma, it also highlighted the lighting work of Antonio Serratos and the musical performance of Abraham Medina, who built a wide range of atmospheres for the development of a play full of humor, wit, intelligence and deep empathy.

At the end of the play, the audience celebrated the enormous effort of the actresses with their applause, and Marsol Quiñónez, Director of the Cultural Institute of Mazatlan; maestro Ramón Gómez Polo, Director of the School of Theater at Cultura, and Juan Manuel Flores, Director of the Municipal Arts Center, offered words of recognition, love and unconditional support to Hannia Meza Landaverde for concluding a cycle on the long road of the arts.
