This Friday, October 11, at 8:00 p.m. at the Angela Peralta Theater, the Mazatlecan public will enjoy one of their biggest favorites: soprano Penelope Luna, who returns to the land where she was born, as a singer with the show “Concierto Clásico Mexicano”.

Together with pianist Héctor Acosta, the soprano will deliver a repertoire made up of romantic songs by composers such as Agustín Lara, Blas Galindo, Manuel M. Ponce, María Grever and Jorge del Moral, artists who helped build the sensitivity of Mexico’s 20th century with their talent.

Penelope Luna belonged to the Opera Studio of Fine Arts in 2017. She graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Mazatlan, Sinaloa under the tutelage of Martha Félix and Enrique Patron de Rueda. She was awarded in the Carlo Morelli National Singing Contest, the Sinaloa International Singing Contest and the San Miguel Opera Contest. She also received the Youth Merit Award, in the Artistic Category, from the Sinaloa State Congress.

Tickets for “Concierto Clásico Mexicano” are free with ticket from the Theater box office.
