Mayor and Cultura staff celebrate Lunas del Auditorio Award

To celebrate the distinction obtained by the Majestic Angela Peralta Theater by Lunas del Auditorio as an Emblematic Site, the Mayor of Mazatlan, Luis Guillermo Benítez Torres, and executives of the Municipal Instituto de Cultura, Turismo y Arte, were accompanied by TAP staff and explained the importance of this type of recognition.
The Mayor indicated that it is a great pride to receive this type of award, and with it the quality of the space, the human capital is reflected, as well as the artistic promotion that is carried out in the Port where there are more than three events per week scheduled.
José Ángel Tostado Quevedo, Office Manager of the Municipal Instituto de Cultura, Turismo y Arte de Mazatlan, congratulated the stage personnel, sound, lighting, technicians, maintenance, and hostesses, among others, for their passion and work, in each of the functions.
“This award is for the Institute, of those that make up the Angela Peralta Theater. Representing Mazatlan at the National level happens because the port is in style, talked about in all of Mexico, we want to be seen at the international level, mainly for the culture, art and cuisine that distinguishes us. We appreciate the support we have received from our Mayor,” he said.
The official said that TAP is a recognized venue and he invites staff and citizens to take care of the theater, so that it remains an icon of the country with the improvements that will come soon.
