The second function of “The Barber of Seville” was carried out successfully in the Angela Peralta Theater, directed by maestro Enrique Patron de Rueda.
To finish the show with a flourish, the public witnessed the recognition given to Maestro Enrique Patron de Rueda by the Municipal Instituto de Cultura, Turismo y Arte de Mazatlan for his 40 year career.
Zoila Fernández, Artistic Director and José Ángel Tostado, Office Manager of the General Directorate of the Instituto de Cultura, who thanked him on behalf of the Mayor “El Químico” Luis Guillermo Benítez Torres and all Mazatlecans for the great cultural and artistic contribution that he has given to the pearl of the pacific.
Subsequently, a video was projected where the artist’s career was recounted and messages of thanks and congratulations from Carlos Osuna, Zoila Fernández and Susana Zabaleta.
The public did not hesitate to stand up and cheer the honoree who with his special sense of humor thanked all for the recognition.
