As a preventive measure to avoid any possible contagion of coronavirus in the Port of Mazatlán, the Municipal Instituto de Cultura, Turism y Arte postpones all activities related to the calendar of Spring Season 2020, which begins on Friday, March 20, resuming activities on April 20.

José Ángel Tostado Quevedo, in charge of the General Directorate of the Instituto de Cultura, indicated that this measure was taken due to the actions being taken by the different government entities, which are in favor of society.

“The agenda that we had already announced commemorating the festival is suspended until further notice, we are going to postpone some works,” he exclaimed.

The manager indicated that some events will be postponed without having a confirmed date yet, which is why he asked for understanding from society and the artistic community.

Tostado Quevedo added that the Instituto de Cultura is fully willing to reimburse any amount issued to citizens for the tickets purchased for the Spring Season scheduled during March 20 to April 20, to make it valid it is necessary to go to the facilities of This Paramunicipal with a purchased ticket, if they wish to attend the event later, they must be vigilant for the date that it is rescheduled.

With respect to the student community of the Municipal Center of the Arts, the official asserted that they are governed by the instructions of the Secretary of Public Education and Culture of the State of Sinaloa, so that the students will attend classes until this Friday, March 20, resuming activities on Monday, April 20.

He invited society in general to be vigilant and informed so as not to panic at possible false news related to this topic.
