Within the artistic program offered by the Instituto Municipal de Cultura, Turismo y Arte de Mazatlán, the Delphos company will virtually present the work “Cuando los disfraces se cuelgan” (when the costumes hang), a piece nominated as the Best Touring Show Awards granted by the Austin Critics Choice Award.
“Cuando los disfraces se cuelgan” is a visual work, which has been presented with great success in Mexico, Latin America and the U.S.
Delphos from the feeling of the human body, manifested by dance, explores masks and costumes to rediscover and rescue what they have forgotten.
The artistic direction of the work is by the maestros and choreographers Claudia Lavista and Víctor Manuel Ruiz, produced with the support of the Program for the Strengthening of the Performing Arts Mexico on Stage-CONACULTA-FONCA, the the Instituto Municipal de Cultura, Turismo y Arte de Mazatlán and the Amigos de Delfos association. Aura Patrón, Roselí Arias, Daniel Marín, Agustín Martínez, Claudia Lavista and Johnny Millán perform.
