Juan Villoro, one of the most prominent Mexican writers today will participate this Saturday at 11:00 AM in the program “Literary Lines Online.” (in Spanish)

The public that joins this virtual talk will have the opportunity to share with an author who has shown absolute dominance in genres as diverse as the novel, the short story and especially the chronicle, the so-called “genre centaur”, which will be the central theme.

Juan Villoro has been a professor at UNAM, and a visiting professor at Yale, Princeton, Stanford and Pompeu Fabra universities in Barcelona. Columnist of Reforma (Mexico) and El Mercurio (Chile), was director of La Jornada Semanal. Doctor honoris causa from the Universidad Michoacana de San Nicolás de Hidalgo and the Universidad Autónoma Metropolitana. José Donoso Ibero-American Award 2012, Manuel Rojas Award 2018 and Herralde Award (Spain). His novel for the young, “El Libro Salvaje” (the Wild Book) has sold over a million copies.
