From September 28 to October 2, from 7:00 to 8:00 at night, the “Singing Course” will be held for entering the Angela Peralta Choir of the School of Music and Singing of the Instituto Municipal de Cultura, Turismo y Arte de Mazatlán.
Due to the health contingency caused by COVID-19 this year, the course will be held virtually through the Google Meet platform and will be headed by maestra María Murillo, Director of the Angela Peralta Choir.
As every year, the course seeks to prepare the new voices that will join the community choir through the teaching of vocal techniques and exercises to enhance the voice.
The Angela Peralta Choir has been a hotbed of great voices that today shine on the operatic stages of Mexico and the world such as Carlos Osuna, José Adán Pérez, Armando Piña and Penélope Luna and is also one of the most versatile and popular musical groups in Mazatlán .
The “Singing Course” is free. No previous musical knowledge is needed to join the choir and the only requirement is that the applicants be over 15 years old.
