Special night to remember the community of doctors of the Port was eperienced with the Tribute Gala prepared by the Government of Mazatlán headed by the Mayor, Quimico Luis Guillermo Benitez Torres and the Instituto Municipal de Cultura, Turismo y Arte during this Friday, October 23, closing Doctor’s Day with a golden brush.

A program dedicated to health workers, where dozens of heroes and heroines in white coats gathered at the Angela Peralta Theater to witness a repertoire that offered classical ballet, opera, classical music, and without missing the regional rhythms of Sinaloa.

José Ángel Tostado Quevedo, General Director of the Instituto de Cultura, gave a welcome message to those present who congratulated them for their great dedication to being a fundamental piece today after the efforts they have made as a result of the global pandemic that is being experienced because of Covid-19, and invited them to continue the same for the good of Mazatlán and the world.

On the artistic side, the group Malavista opened and delighted with classic guitar melodies that were to everyone’s liking.

Tenor Mario Canela accompanied by Pianist Juan Pablo García went on stage in a duet with the song “El dia que me quieres”, the singer surprised the audience by starting his presentation from the seats of the audience to finish with the musician.

Actor José Arturo Torres recited a poem dedicated to the doctors praising them and winning the recognition of the attendees at the end.

The spark and joy of El Mazatleco Folkloric Ballet of Gualberto Castro, were also part of the program, giving flavor to the evening.

The Sinaloa Classical Ballet Company performed different pieces such as Pas de deux, performed by Alina Rodríguez and Geen Lee Panchy Balseca; “Someone You loved”, “Just give me a reason”, presented by Juan Carlos Santiago and Martha Alcaraz.

The video “Color Esperanza” was screened, performed by the same company, where the direction and assembly of the choreography was the work of Maestro Guillermo Carrillo.

Thus the health staff felt protected and very pampered on a great night.
