On Saturday night, passions were ignited at Casa Haas thanks to the concert “Arias y Música Française” which starred four brilliant voices from the Guillermo Sarabia Choir, the most important corps of operatic voices in Mazatlán.

Under the direction of maestro Enrique Patron De Rueda, and in the company of the pianist Juan Pablo García, the artists painted a beautiful mural which sadness, romance, desire, love and heartbreak which shook the audience, thanks to the vocal and interpretive quality of the artists.

In addition to deeply moving the audience, Rebeca De Rueda, Eduardo Tapia, Daniela Cortés and Miguel Valenzuela offered a sample of the rich musical legacy that France has given the world in pieces by composers such as Reynaldo Hahn, Francis Poulenc, Gabriel Fauré, Jules Massenet, Kurt Weil, Charles Gounod, and Jacques Offenbach.

As if that were not enough, the lighting, the scenography and the participation of special guests such as cellist Citlali Cisneros, gave an air of intimacy that intensified the beauty of this recital that is part of the activities of the Festival Cultural Mazatlán 2020, organized by the Instituto Municipal de Cultura, Turismo y Arte de Mazatlán.
