Casa Haas has become a forum for experimental music that provides the opportunity for new talents to express their creations through fine arts, this Friday, February 12, at 7:30 p.m., the Latin American Traditional Music Concert will begin, an event that comes thanks to the Calendar of Activities of the Instituto de Cultura.

The voice of Jonathan Torrijos and the Kimú group will provide the dozens of attendees for an hour, a trip with sounds and typical rhythms of Latin America, ranging from Colombian cumbia, son jarocho, Huastecan, Peruvian rhythms, and more.

The group of artists that will be in the venue is a group of young musicians who graduated from the Municipal Arts Center, multidisciplinary, made up of Torrijos on voice and charango, Elisa Medina on voice and ukulele, Oscar Félix on guitar and jarana , Samuel Antonio on bass, Manuel Hernández on percussions, and Jesús Iribe on accordion.

Tickets for the concert are on sale at the Angela Peralta Theater box office from 12:00 to 7:00 pm, Monday to Friday, for the performance the cost will be $100 pesos per person, for a capacity of 30 spectators.

José Ángel Tostado Quevedo, General Director of the Instituto Municipal de Cultura, Turismo y Arte de Mazatlán, invites the public to be part of this type of event, where responsibility is fulfilled in the area of ​​health by taking the proper precautions, also the commitment to society is reaffirmed by promoting culture and the arts entrusted by the Mayor of Mazatlán, Quimico Luis Guillermo Benitez Torres.
