This Friday at the Angela Peralta Theater, the Instituto Municipal de Cultura, Turismo y Arte de Mazatlán, directed by José Ángel Tostado Quevedo, will present the great dance show “Minimal”, with the stellar participation of Delfos Danza Contemporánea and Safa Ensamble de Percusiones.

A stage proposal, under the direction of the choreographer Víctor Manuel Ruíz, special participation of the set designer Fernando Feres and with the extraordinary music of the American minimalist composer Steve Reich, a perfect conjunction to fill the majestic Angela Peralta Theater with art.

It seeks to experiment in the field of the traditions of the state of Sinaloa, specifically to create a contemporary version of the ritual of the “Deer Dance” as a starting point, to conceive a metamorphosis between the dancer who transforms into a wild animal and the furious extrahuman current, which survives permanent confinement due to the pandemic within the large metropolises and their nature deficit.

The appointment is this Friday, March 19, at 8:00 p.m., the cost of entry is $200 pesos, tickets are on sale at the theater box office, from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.

It is important to highlight that during the function and prior to it, all prevention, health and healthy distance measures are taken.
