Casa Haas has become the perfect setting for great musical evenings that have served to position itself as a great cultural venue, this Wednesday continuing with Spring Season 2021 programming carried out by the Instituto Municipal de Cultura, Turismo y Arte de Mazatlán directed by José Ángel Tostado Quevedo, it received the concert “Romantic Nights in Mazatlán”.

A great piano and viola recital that commemorated three great historical exponents of classical music Franz Schubert, Ludwid van Beethoven and Robert Shuman.

On the piano, Laura Hauer and on the viola, Fernando Montes de Oca were in charge of offering an excellent recital, with the great quality and experience that runs through their hands in front of two classical instruments.

The repertoire included Beethoven’s “Romanza No. 2 in F major for violin and orchestra, op. 50” and “Romanza No. 1 in G major for violin and orchestra, op. 40”; later the Schumann legacy arrived with “Adagio and Allegro in A flat major for horn, violin or cello, op. 70”; to end with Schubert with “Sonata in A minor D. 821 for Arpeggione”.

The public was fascinated with each of the performances, who on each occasion cheered the artists, recognizing their great talent and musical quality.

It should be noted that before and during the event, personnel of the Instituto de Cultura carried out all the health, prevention and healthy distance guidelines to offer a more safe activity in promotion of art and culture.
